Evenings with India Ink

Evening light is not stronger, it is less noisy.

I clean a single bowl first, only then begin the mix. If I skip that step, everything that follows feels less certain.

The room changes color after one lamp is lit; that color teaches me where the next line will need pressure.

The ink is not the medium. The medium is the pause between strokes.
